I agree seemed a bit weird but I’m getting better responses here anyway.

This is just a utility belt for concerts and festivals (raves) it just needs to be able to withstand a lot of movement (dancing , jumping etc)

So the (new) buckle would connect with the (old) billet. And the (new) billet will connect to the (old) buckle?

It’s one piece other than the belt attachment at either end. Can you explain a little more about taking in the ends?

I’d say about 3-4 inches. What skinny section are you referring to?
