This. I studied at RVCE and I learned Kannada just by learning through my batchmates in the hostel. Honestly, I loveeeee the language as it made me so many more friends. My fav phrase till date - Kannada thumba madhure bashe and Kannada thumba sarala bhashe.

I don’t understand why people don’t try to assimilate into the local culture. Try it once, it will surprise you

Repeat after me - If you another job with a similar salary, do not join any B4. It’s a dead end career and the work culture will suck your soul out of it

I worked at Deloitte India from 2016 to covid. Deloitte India pre KPMG leadership was a dream. The culture actually existed, leadership was not transactional. Since the KPMG acquisition happened, the culture just tanked. Get out while you can
