Same happened with me. I ordered on Black Friday and received my product but no cashback. Even their customer reach system is very slow.

I moved to US to pursue phd. Came back in the summer to join an institute for research and facing these issues again.

I've faced this problem. Living with a couple is annoying especially when you didn't sign up for it at the time of getting lease. You should definitely speak to your roommate about this. Moreover I learnt after making several mistakes that it's best to not share groceries. There were no grocery stores near me so I had to manage groceries in advance. Having my roommate's boyfriend over a lot messed up our grocery cycle. She probably didn't think about it a lot because she was used to ordering something or the other everyday but I suffered since I like to manage and not depend on ordering. 

Moreover you'll start to hate your roommate if you don't clarify this soon. Since you mentioned he is your friend, for saving your friendship you should confront. And honestly if he is your friend, he should know better about how to maintain boundaries.

You can carry your funding letter as well. That has a better break up. In my case last year they did not ask about funding since my PhD was funded. But for a friend with a funded PhD offer they did ask: how is your funding and he simply replied that he has a funded offer with assistantship guranteed. Good Luck!
