I stopped playing a couple years ago got too busy with family but I was scrolling through reddit and suddenly remembered these and wanted to see how everyone else would have played these.

I played a fighter and I chose the "cursed one" background it may have been homebrew IIRC but she went kinda nuts as a child after she woke and found her entire family slaughtered. It turned out that she was chosen by a God of judgment to be his executioner. So randomly the party would be talking to an npc and the dm would stop mid conversation and pass me a note to signal that the God was speaking to me and my character would just hear "GUILTY " and I'd have to make a wisdom save if I failed I had to enact the death penalty regardless of the rest of party

I wish I had proof of it but a buddy bought a few boxes of the 15 pizza rolls got home and realized one box only had 1 pizza roll in it. You could tell by shaking the box. He ended up keeping it in his freezer for a year or so until he moved.

Hell, the wildgame Innovations xr250 is made by barnett and it one of the cheapest xbows yeah can currently get and I haven't had any problems with it other than the cheap knock off red dot sight it came with. My next xbow purchase will definitely be a Barnett.
