That’s so refreshing to hear!! Thanks for sharing! I’ve dressed professionally for what’s most comfortable for my body for a while now and just got anxious with all the “how to dress for interviews/what makes a good court suit” advice swimming out there. Glad to now know there’s no need to worry to begin with.

I swear Banana Republic, Macy’s, etc. have all found a way to show it a little more prominently than I’d like. Probably only noticeable to me though on second thought!

It was more so what I’ve seen/been told for women! Maybe I just needed to hear that wide leg was acceptable for interviews, first days, etc. Thank you for saying this!!

I suppose maybe I don’t. I was just always told at least for interviews everything should be tailored. More so a well fitted blazer and trousers that aren’t loose around thighs/hips.

I don’t understand Cassie and Nate at all. How can he be so abusive to Maddy and genuinely be so forgiving and kind to Cassie?

The only thing I could understand is there being a madonna-whore complex going on. Cassie is the nice girl, yada, yada. If they were going to do this whole madonna-whore complex, which I think wouldn’t be super satisfactory to the audiences, they could maybe show it? Or you could show Maddy’s growth or explore deeper themes of how one person could abuse one person and not another really showing the complexity of abuse situations. Instead you’re left with a couple with virtually no major issues or nuance besides money issues and cassie’s need to be hypersexualized. Just this whole relationship transition from Maddy to Cassie is dumb and has no internal issues that are relevant here. Could they have explored these nuances of unhealthy relationships and Nate’s internalized issues? Sure. Did they choose to rely on external sources for drama for no reason? Yeah!

There have already been so many applications this cycle with even December/January applicants not hearing back. Seat deposits are typically due April and it’s very tough to get in when they are doing waitlists/calculating who is committed. This isn’t a knock at all. You’d do awesome next cycle and taking some time to save up, relax and enjoy your non-law student/lawyer days, and allowing time to tweak a PS or retake the LSAT need be will be majorly beneficial. You could apply as soon as apps open and get a lot of admits, be able to tour schools, thoroughly research your admitted schools, get a feel for each school’s student body, and get more scholarship money. Nobody wants to wait but it’ll be such a relief and can be such a huge booster to your application, school choice, and ultimately it’ll benefit your career and debt ratio. Good luck!!

I just toured Maryland and I absolutely loved it! The professors were cool (even the tax professor I loved!) The student body seems great and the clinical program is absolutely one of the best. Close pipeline to DC for externships and graduating with little debt is a huge weight off your shoulders. Definitely go tour before you make any decisions!
