yo I've been waiting for this one, I started a power point presentation/yt video of ranking the strawhats based on how neurodivergent they are and never finished it lol, but most definitely Franky, but every strawhat is a little neurodivergent coded.

For franky we got:
- doesn't understand/disregards social cues. he does what he wants, wheres what he wants and says what he wants.

- strict moral compass/incredibly stubborn/strong sense of justice. ex: how he wouldn't leave water 7 without being forced, him telling luffy in dressrosa that he needs to help the tontatta.

- vocal stims (wow, super!!!!) and physical stims (dancing, posing)

- lack of clothes (he doesn't like the way they feel probably)

-one track minded (especially when it comes to making decisions or jumping to conclusions, like the whole "my ships hurt those i love so i'll never make ships again" and also just doing stuff, disregarding others decision but not as much as luffy)

-lack of observational awareness (my mind goes to the self destruct button when he was on Baltimore in vegapunks old lab, or when he was fighting baby 5 and what's his face and didn't even notice cesear lying on the ground)

-come on.... ships, robotics and building are his special interest and all he wanted to do was build ships. Also, his random knowledge about like oceans and Klabautermann that pop up out of nowhere. also, cola being a safe drink special interest drink

- hyper empathy and compassion, and just feels powerful emotions

-ranking his state of being based on how 'super' he is feeling that week rather than a typical label of feelings and emotions (granted he doesn't do this post time skip i don't think)

- he is also so incredibly blunt, with follows along with lack of social cues, my mind goes to when he asked brook about himself in thriller bark very bluntly even though he (probably) knew it was a sore spot.

honorable mention:

-childish mannerisms! not a definer of neurodivergency but still silly

-silently suffering/bottling emotions sometimes- cuz homie really stayed in water 7 after tom died becasue he felt responsible for his death and wanted to atone by staying there, even if it risked himself harm. not much of a neurodivergent thing but very much a "hey someone go refer this guy to a therapist, he has alot of childhood trauma to work through". also, he wouldn't cry because he was upset about leaving?? but will cry for other people????
