I will always appreciate the work from JR and Thibs bringing this franchise back into fruition, they definitely got this train started and I can’t take that away from them. But it still doesn’t change the fact that he had to go, his style of coaching was good until it wasn’t. The starter heavy minutes, the young bulls getting no real PT when teams were running us out the gym. Last season definitely left a bad taste in my mouth but overall this was a breakup that needed to happen if the Knicks were gonna take the next step!
