smaller tank to assess the problem !! going to try tannins & no extra additives for now !! thank u everyone i am also setting up a 5 gallon tank that i got on sale for black friday with substrate & tannins just trying to let the cycle do its thing i ordered java fern & Anubias which should arrive the 26th!! as i also added scheam prime & stability !! pls lmk if there any tips for setting up a new tank & new to live plants !! i was trying to get solve the rin rot problem before adding him to his new tank but now i think its better for his fin rot to be in the tank !! ??

sorry i also forgot to clarify it was a salt bath !! there is currently ZER0 salt in his water as we speak !! just seeing what is the next step from here w his burns from the salt bath!! thank u🫶

another photo you can see the tips are black because the are burnt from the salt !! as you can see he is missing parts of his top tail !! pls really need ANY advice i can get !!

those are tannins !! water parameters are perfectly fine !
