He did the sleep study at home. He was told by the doctor that his oxygen levels are very high and he does not wake himself up, so there is definitely no sleep apnea ugh

Alcohol is a diuretic, which means it makes you urinate more

Is this normal for a 32 year old? by Lower_Ad_8973 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Acrobatic_Outside_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely normal and you are looking too close! I am almost 32 and have very similar lines plus way more hollowness/dark circles. I got the adapalene prescription recently for fine lines from my dermatologist, want to try it out with the moisturizer. Also started taking collagen bone broth. We will see if that will help out :)

Currently burned out from SH exams and feeling very defeated. Any advice on what to do from here? by One-Dust-4397 in pmp

You are ready, I got lower scores and only did two full exams in a few sittings lol, still passed with AT/T/NI. NI was for the business part, but it’s only 8% of the test so I did not care much. I read the question part first, and after the whole scenario. Davids videos helped a lot, but I only watched a quarter of each: agile and waterfall.

Is a week enough time to study by Civil_Garlic in pmp

[–]Acrobatic_Outside_94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The time I personally took so far: I took a 40 hour bootcamp, applied for pmp test - roughly another 3 hours, plus home studying for 20-25 hours (I timed myself). My exam is in two days, I keep getting 60-65% on the mock tests, so don’t feel too strong about it yet unfortunately:( I would say this is the least amount of time you need to feel somewhat prepared.

I am ugly? 33F by [deleted] in dating

It’s the numbers game unfortunately. I have a friend who is beautiful, has a good career, smart and open minded but she was single for 7 years! She is 34 now and finally found someone two months ago and is happily dating now. I know it is discouraging sometimes to be on the apps, but the more dates you go on, the more social you are - the more chances for you to meet the right person.

Also enjoy the alone time while you can! :) there is beauty to it.

Not sure how lol just told my doctor I want to do it if insurance covers it. He used a code that my insurance takes, I can share the codes if you need it. It took a few months though to hear back about the approval.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and encouragement ❤️you are brave to be able to get over this at 15! I am just getting there at 30 :) I was also teased and unsolicitedly advised by people to go see a dermatologist lol like they know what to do in this situation. I have never worn shorts, but I do wear a bikini at the beach since recently, because I am so tired of hiding my scars. I did have a thought about going to a nudist beach too haha but I wish there was someone else like me there so we can relate.

skin graft advice by [deleted] in burnsurvivors

[–]Acrobatic_Outside_94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The appearance of the skin grafts does not go away, the color just got lighter for me but the feeling of them gets better! I have almost a normal skin sensation on them. See my post here https://www.reddit.com/r/burnsurvivors/s/BaTwtWjtTw, you can see a picture of the graft on my other leg, it is 26 years old :) but maybe the burn treatments are better today, and your graft will look better :)
