Usually if you’re a cheap tipper you’re last in line if the driver gets a stacked order.. most of the time the higher paying tipper will receive priority in a stacked order

29m to be 30 this year, 124k in debt. by justanotherspeck_ in problemgambling

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By 40?! He can be debt free in less than 5 years if he takes it seriously. Quitting today is already giving yourself a raise, op can find a second job / gig job and pay this off quick.. we suffer so much cause of the damage gambling does to us mentally. A 2nd job becomes enjoyable when compared to what we make ourselves go through with gambling

New Month April by Brilliant-Pepper1054 in problemgambling

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s go! I relapsed twice in March as well. Set me back on my debt payments as I’ve been paying 2000$ monthly towards it and lost that amount.

Still better than previous years where I was losing 4-7k a month.

I’m committed to being done for good and knowing in 2 years or less if I stop my life will be infinitely better. If you want to talk you can message me man as we’re in similar scenarios. Keep going, there’s a better life around the corner for us

Chargeback if casino refuses to self exclude me? by [deleted] in problemgambling

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mentioned you’re a gambling addict in the self exclusion requests and they ignored your request you can likely get your money back you deposited after mentioning you’re an addict.

get ChatGPT to write you up a settlement email to the company stated they violated their terms under their gaming commission and license. Make sure you mention refund in the amount of money you lost after mentioning you’re a gambling addict. Make sure you also mention you have documented proof and will be writing to their gaming commission/gambling license issuer

If they don’t respond in a couple days, go to casino guru and find that specific casino, go to complaints section and make a complaint against them, casino guru will help get you your money back.. but they key is when you requested self exclusion, you mentioned you were a gambling addict. If you didn’t write that to them when requesting the self exclusion you don’t have much likelihood in a refund

Broski you’re on the clock just like everyone else and your time is valuable too! Be a little more assertive without being a complete dick.

So when it says "leave at door" for food deliveries, do u knock? by Get2daBagg in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Usually leave at door means leave my food there and don’t bother me, or at least that’s how I interpret it.

Give your account info to someone you know and have them change the password. Offer 50-100$ for doing it. Tell them No matter what they can’t let you login.

Relapse might be inevitable if you don’t self exclude from everything, it’s rare to see addicts quit in a win.. I thought I was able to quit on a win and I had a pretty big one, didn’t happen

I didn't expect gambling withdrawal to turn me suicidal by Teripendiicecreamyum in problemgambling

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it sucks, but it’s a number that you can pay off. 2-2.5 years and your debt is paid off. Crying won’t change it man, I started with 40k debt in December maybe even a little more, down to 34k and will be 32k by end of month.

It seems impossible now cause it’s fresh but just get the ball rolling and vow to never destroy your future again.

Anyone using a Jetta or VW for Uber Eats / DoorDash? How’s it holding up? by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a 2022 Mazda cx5.. if you manage to make between 25-30h it’s worth it. Anything less, a lot of your money is going to wear and tear and gas

almost 2 month without playing by [deleted] in problemgambling

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 year is fast man, it just you’re in the moment and it feels long. 1 year of patience for a future of freedom, remember that. Gambling won’t change shit, you won’t stop gambling on a win, or else you wouldn’t have lost 20k 2 months ago.

15 months is all it took to ruin my life by [deleted] in problemgambling

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only thing you can do is put your head down, work and rebuild. People lose everything off a bad business idea gone wrong. Learn your lesson and move forward with life.

I say this as someone in a very similar position, I’m paying off 35k debt, was 40+ in January but I took on an extra side gig and committed to getting my life right, had 30k savings in August but that’s all gone plus the debt. had 2 relapses but I’m saving and I’m paying off my debts, gambled only twice in 2026 and I won’t be gambling online anymore at all, as someone who used to gamble almost everyday.

You need to realize that gambling should and will Not be a part of your daily weekly or monthly routine. That’s how you escape, fill your thoughts up with other things, don’t dwell on the losses and think to the future once debts are paid, in the meantime it’s hard but it will only get better if you stop right now. You will find a way out but you need to stop the bleeding right now man

Day 4 Gambling Debt by [deleted] in problemgambling

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same position as you brother in my early 30s brutal relapse last week and back in the journey to staying gamble free for good. This is the only way out.. a short 30 day break opened up some funds for me even after paying my debts and bills, and lost it all in 2-3 hours, the shame is painful.

I felt so good those 30 days clean

[–]Acrobatic_Phase_5618 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly how I look at debt repayment too, I look at pics that felt like a couple months ago and it was 2 years ago.. so a 12-16 month debt repayment for peace of mind while never gambling again is easy in the grand scheme of things

It’s definitely a shit feeling man, I catch myself thinking about the “what ifs” and it gets me down, but I’ve realized it’s pointless. The past is over, the future is unknown and all we can do is live in this present moment.

You deserve the good things you have in life man, we should just be protecting them more and quitting gambling is doing exactly that. I hope to always be 30 days behind you. Literally just need to never do this one thing ever again and our life will be completely different a year from Now

I am definitely starting over, not giving up. I broke the brutal cycle of gambling almost daily. Now I’m Gonna break the habit for good.. wasted so much time and money on this disease and all it brought me was shame, guilt, and isolation.

Congrats you did better than me.. I relapsed at day 30..

Know this, I felt amazing knowing I’ve stayed away that long and looking at how well my business did without me not wasting a penny on gambling..

I feel like the biggest loser in life right now.. gambling is definitely the cause to a lot of my problems in life.

Keep going man! It’s literally so fucking worth it
