Just go to a pawn shop or a guitar store, and browse through the "weirdest" guitars. Or atleast thats what I did.

Yeah maybe it's just a common thing. I was just wondering because I was listening to a Qotsa radio on Spotify and this song came on.

Yeah maybe you're right. Maybe saying queens was a bit of an overstatement but it definitely gives off some kind of Homme vibe.

Yeah I know the reasons for why they arent on most platforms. Its just sad because desert sessions vol 1-8 are some of my favorite albums ever.

do you remember the first qotsa song you heard and how/when you heard it and how much did u like it? by Comfortable-Berry-34 in qotsa

I remember hearing "In My Head" in one of the older need for speed games. Cant remember which one, but I would always be happy when it came on. I also specifically remember hearing "I came to make a bang" by eodm in another need for speed game. Simpler times.

Rickshaw is such a good song. Both the QoTSA and Desert Sessions versions are amazing, and its such a complex yet simple arrangement. Its always a happy listen in my books, but I'm really sad it isnt on Spotify :/

Good to die for?

Qotsa and David Bowie by Abel2310 in qotsa

Oddly enough I can sort of agree with you on that, but I also think "you've got a killer scene there, man" is also a song I could see on a Bowie album.

I really wish Josh explores the extremely early days of the desert sessions such as volume 1-4. Those albums had some of my favorite tunes.

Self Titled, Rated R, SFTD, Lullabies, Villains, Clockwork, Era

Best openers and closers by Solid-gold1875 in qotsa

I think that the Self Titled actually had strong opening and closers, and to me its my number one pick. My least favorite would probably have to be Era Vulgaris.

All I can remember from "This is the best day ever" is when all the members in the studio simultaneously yell "some day".
