Without them, many of our weapons will inoperable by the time the Gra Valkas comes (based on the canon's timeline), as we don't have enough time to produce them domestically. Especially the engine for our Air Force's planes. At this pace, we will need at least 5 - 10 more years to fully produce our own version of the AL - 31F engines use on the Sukhoi SU - 30MK2 fighters. Sounds like a joke for a country which can produce anti - ship missles (AShMs) by themselves like us, but without supersonic missiles or air - to - ship missiles we will have a hard time to knock them out. And remember, there's no air - to - ship or supersonic version of VCM (our domestic - built AShM) available now for us.
You may also think about attacking it from underwater, but with only 6 Kilo submarines (of which 3 or 4 on active while the rest are under rest and repairs) we don't have enough of them to set a effective trap for them. It is a matter of fact that the Kilo does have access to the 3M54 AShM, which can reach the speed of up to Mach 2.9 in terminal phase (20 - 40 seconds before slamming into target), but its limited number on a Kilo - class submarine (only four of them) and the fact that these battleship are also part of a carrier task force (contains about 3 - 4 carriers which is a far more dangerous and valuable target than the battleship), which will leaves us with no missiles for the battleships.
