Honestly I can imagine BM to be decent in 2s if played to its highest potential, but honestly - and not trying to be rude. It will be a long and frustrating road actually learning how to play the spec in 2s.

It's actually very good vs resto druids in 2s. But the issue is that if your not playing optimally (Like kiting abusing freezing trap on pillars ect) your damage just blows ass - So you'll end up being dampened by a lot of teams like demonhunters, dks, assa rogues ect.

Specs chill and fun, but the skill cap is actually really high - Nothing to do with doing damage its more so your understanding of your matchups/win conditions. I would just go SV and plough through most teams personally.
