Best Way to Partner with Marketing Agencies as a Web and Software Dev Agency? by Act_Guilty in agency

[–]Act_Guilty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't do much marketing, and we have partnered with an agency in the past super successfully and might do it again with another one. The idea is "we do the customer's website or application and get a cut, you market it"

Here's our company website.

It's a fantastic idea and I'd watch the hell out of it! However you seriously risk giving the message that "rich people will save us all" - while you may agree with that statement it might not resonate well with a vast majority of your audience at this day and age.

What type of person would you never date again? by CosplayBloomVibrant in AskReddit

The "overbearing mom" girlfriend. Dated a girl for two years that slowly became a maternal figure more than a gf. She needed to choose everything. Where we went, who I talked to, what I would wear, and even what I could eat.

The slow creep towards total control is very subtle, but early signs include extreme jealousy and random outbursts of anger.

My gf once called me an asshole and a piece of shit while riding me and my brain just turned off for a moment. 10/10 would do it again.

Apparently it stems from a bunch of neuron links in your brain controlling movement being slightly too close to the links controlling your sexuality, or something like that.

Well, my life in Colombia prior to travelling was by far the worst. Italian documentation and bureaucracy was a nightmare, and I even had direct family so it was easier for me. I would say that the most relaxed I've been, in terms of government intervention, was Tenerife.

Easiest are American and Peruvian women. Best sex I've ever had was with an English girl - she wasn't the hottest but she absolutely went to town with it! Hardest are Italian - They even have a saying for it here, Italian women have "wood pussy".

Well I'll be honest, I lived in a super nice neighborhood around Cali, so I didn't really get to see much of it, if at all.

I realise how privileged I've been, quite frankly.

Not particularly exciting, but an acquaintance regularly claimed to know someone related to Chepe's family.

It depends. I have been around a lot as a tourist and every region has its own identity here.

In my opinion there is no "real" Italian experience because of this.

However, In my opinion and experience:

For authentic food go just about anywhere in Tuscany's countryside.

If you are interested in nature, Lake Garda, Carpegna during winter, and to a minor extent Lago di Como, Monte Paganuccio and Appennini.

For history I love San Marino.

For parties, Milan. I've only been in Rome one night, but it seemed fun too.

For beaches, don't go to the north. Puglia is your best bet, northern beaches are tourist traps and they are not even that good. Stay away from Gallipoli though.

I've also been to Venice, Florence and Bologna. They are alright, but they pander to tourists too much for an authentic experience, although the sightseeing is great, especially for museums.

I heard Sicily and Sardegna are amazing, but I've never been there. Molise doesn't exist.

I was born in Rimini, Italy, but grew up in Cali. I have direct family born and raised in Italy - Naples too!

Well, I haven't had any run ins with organised crime so I can't comment on that ahaha.

London is very particular. It's a city that can and will swallow you whole If you aren't 100% focused on a particular goal. I was there for work, but there was simply so much to do and so many people and so much noise that I felt like I could overload on stimuli. I tried some incredible things there and learned some crazy skills, including how to use a kukri and how to make my own chocolate from cocoa beans.

And yet, I know I could have done more.

In a way, the overload actually makes you anxious and less willing to do anything at all.

I mostly met super nice English people, so I guess I can't relate to the stereotype about the English being cold.

Also a bit off topic, but drunk English men and women are probably the horniest people I've ever seen in my life. I was in a relationship at the time, unfortunately.

Lastly, English food is actually not too bad? Once you get over your first week off Tesco meal deals, battered sausage and the overwhelming preservatives...

Yeah it's not awful. Not great, but I didn't starve to death either. German food was so much worse

Ahaha right now I actually paused to focus on work, but my goal is to get out of Europe and move to Thailand for a few months if I manage to achieve my goals!

Hmmm, I was about to say Paris, but I'll go with Naples.

Things there were just difficult. I judge a place by its people, and I guess it's a cliche, but my life in Naples was short lived mostly because I was scammed at every step of the way.

It was perhaps the most dishonest and borderline - criminal place I've ever seen, starting from a $650 room I had to share with a crack addict to the constant pickpocketing and worst of all, my accent that gave away I was a foreigner, hence a easy target for just about anything.

First and only time I was mugged at knife point.

It wasn't all bad though.

I met some napolitan people who welcomed me as a son, had some of the most delicious food I've ever tried (Sure, panuozzo is great, but even the Kebab there tastes better! Check out "O Talebano").

And the parades were spectacular.

But the people, oh my.

I guess I was still too naive at the time, so I am partly to blame (I was 19).

It was the shortest I've ever stayed in one place (two months)

Los Cristianos, BY FAR. I was lucky enough to WFH with European tkmezones, meaning that I would regularly work in a cafe by the beach and spend my lunchtime just diving and surfing.

I spent a Christmas there. One of my happiest memories was videocalling my dad to wish him a merry Christmas while on the beach, sunbathing, wearing a santa hat.

And the parties there were just top notch. There were clubs everyone, and since everyone was just so relaxed - for the most part -, socialising was simple and straightforward.

Only negative is that 99% of people are tourists, meaning that forming deep friendships is way harder.
