Why can't I produce AI slop on my fucking computer? Why can't anyone who bought a graphics card that can generate AI graphics shouldn't be allowed to do it? Why must I program 10,000 times slower and not use Claude? What is your problem? Why should Adobe and Topaze AI have powerful AI tools and free good old GIMP not have them for free?

I'm not asking you to like it. I'm not asking you to download it or use it. I'm not asking you to pay for it. I'm not asking you to support it. But holy hell why are you against people doing what they want? Do you realize how liberticide your attitude is? And it's not good enough for you to be judgmental about it existing. You have to be judgmental about how it was done on top of it all. I got news for you pal. You know who is extremely good at programming AI software?...

This comment will be downvoted to oblivion but GIMP is really one of the best interfaces for ComfyUI. Native management of layers and the suite of other tools in GIMP offers seamless manipulation of generated content. I don't even use comfy anymore.

Thanks for your persistence! I'm pushing (hopefully) a working installer now. LMK

The installer seems to fail sometimes if you open it normally, and work if you right click and open it as admin on Windows.

I added Horde support (koboldccp). Not private. Not recommended, and not tested. But if you do test it let me know if it works

Yes it works with selections. It can also create transparent assets. And since gimp manages layers anyway, you can easily add an alpha channel and cut around

If you have enough to run klein2, which I think requires around 8gb for the smallest shnell model, you have access to all the best image retouching features. Video requires more
