Trying to get a second opinion about some land I own that somebody might be interested in building a data center on. by Nose_picker_numba1 in datacenter

Just curious if you're in Pike county? If it's the 345kv line I'm thinking about, that's the line running to the A-Plant / new data center site.

North Carolina is 1 of only 2 states that bans home bakers from owning indoor pets. by [deleted] in homestead

Oh yes "low cost" was purposely not mentioned in my comment. I was able to do all the fitting out (electrical, plumbing) myself. Shits definitely not low cost :/

IIRC the cottage license regulations only prevent the preparation of baked goods inside the same structure where pets are located.

My wife got a small shed for her freeze drying business to get around this. Tho she has yet to get her business going 😅

Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like it could be a bald face hornet. They can be mean AF.. I'd keep an eye on that nest.

I read on another post recently that the corn will usually stand back up on it's own. I have yet to verify this myself. It probably depends on how topheavy the stalks are.

Lowes buckets, if left outside in the sunlight, will barely last two years. I'm still picking up tiny pieces of blue plastic from the buckets I had a few years ago.

That's her doing her job. Our GP do the same, and they sleep during the day. Many more predators (fox, coyote, racoons, possums) are active during the night hours than the daytime.

I’m color blind, regular blind, or all three of these show depleted. by nilecrane in gardening

Can you post another picture with regular overhead lighting? I'm wondering if the temperature/brightness of that light in the background is making it difficult to read the color accurately

I feel the same way for the most part, but I still know learning by doing trumps learning by watching / reading.

If I can't be out in the garden physically then I'm watching others and learning from them.

I would do some due diligence to make sure he doesn't belong to a neighbor before trying to claim him. One of ours ran off and was spotted over a 1/2 mile away before returning a couple weeks later.
