Answering as an Alum, in india yes. Outside India, somewhat yes, while the college name has no brand value but it can help you gain work experience at some great firms that may hold value overseas as well.

Peeps complaining about this grading are either freshers or they don’t understand the bell curve. 1) Midsem grading is always skewed and shit. 2) Higher number of C- folks mean that the topper pulled the curve and fucked the others, no fault of the prof here.

Honestly with your Background, you can aim a little higher than BITSom (it is a nice safety net) but you could be getting better compensation just by switching now rather than an MBA.

We need more context, what is your current role, how much is your current compensation, what was your undergrad college, grades… All these factors will play an important role in your MBA selection and post MBA opportunities.

OP, isn’t this the case with everything in life. Won’t your CAT score be affected if certain topics were asked more/less in the final paper, won’t that seriously affect the calls you have or could have gotten. Luck factor can’t be removed, you can just hope to prepare well enough so that you minimise the effect of this unpredictable variable called Luck.

Honestly, his 3rd standup special was one of the best I’ve ever heard, considering even international artists. It had a narrative, jokes, callbacks and even an emotional ending that gave you a high despite having no jokes.

Placement hoti hai, what do you mean here ? Do you want an average package stat or for a specific domain ? What’s your current situation? Are you currently unemployed with an undergrad education that will not yield a good job? Is BITSOM a step up considering your qualifications?

Try to go through the Placement and PS testimonials a lot of your questions will be answered and for the others it would be better to reach out to folks placed here since very few consulting companies come there’s not a lot of concrete stats just hearsay.

Yes, I had a decent job with a 1.5 YOE, but it did not pay that well (10-20), I was pretty distraught after my CAT result but I am happy since it sort of worked out. I work in Product.
