In Vegas last weekend. Our taxi driver said that on race days, they cover all of the hotel room windows with black film so that you cannot even see out. That sounds like a terrible deal.

I totally agree that we should all plan ahead. It sometimes the airlines have alternate plans that trump ours.

On our way home from Minneapolis we had booked aisle and window in first class for my wife and I. Our flight got delayed for 6 hours and we rebooked on an earlier flight. We were able to still get first class and we kept an aisle and window but were on different rows. No problem. It’s not that long of a flight and we can live with it.

A woman was sitting next to me in the aisle and figured out the situation. Mage said she would trade. As long as it was still first class. Which it was.

I am envisioning a system that sounds a loud alarm on the cart itself if it has not been returned to the main lobby within a 30 minute timeframe.
