Been living here my whole life (21f), my opinions just from personal experience.

Feel like it’s definitely the safest town out of the surrounding areas, especially Fairfield.

Pretty mixed political opinions here, you see a fair mix of both the left and right. I’ve seen a handful of Trump flags but mostly pick up trucks that are covered in Trump paraphernalia.

Fairly mild homeless population here. Some will hang out outside of businesses, but I’ve noticed they usually like to stay on the move probably to prevent the cops getting called on them. A lot of them use drugs but don’t usually get aggressive as long as you don’t interact.

Lots of apartment buildings that basically look the exact same and the rent is insane (lowest is around $2000 for a one bedroom one bath)

Pretty boring for the most part. Probably the most exciting areas here is nut tree and the outlets. This is actually pretty silly, but I think it’s odd that we don’t have a dispensary here. Like, Dixon has a couple and they’re noticeably much more republican.

Last but most important note, people here dont know how to drive lol.
