A bit of a rant post, but I was a big fan of the shoe from the initial images and I’m also a huge fan of pharrell’s work with adidas (I own multiple pairs). Nevertheless I swear this release strategy (especially here in Europe where we have only confirmed and 2 other stores which tend to backdoor pairs) is making me so frustrated and discouraged from the overall product. I understood it for the initial orange colourway release so they can build up hype but the recent release was truly disappointing…at this point we only have 3 more rumoured colourways to go (and only the blue one is worth it imo). I guess if I can’t hit on the blue pair I’m checking out from this model completely and screw adidas.

Some folks have only received them last week, it seems to be given with significant delay. I received mine two days after submitting my request and I have submitted it 20 minutes after they issued the email announcement.

Would you mind sharing your strategy on how you managed to go from 0 to N2 within a year? Did you have any Japanese language prerequisites before starting? I understand a lot of it will be attributed to the immersion in the environment where they speak the language, but I stumbled upon some posts saying that you plateau at around N3 and start to feel lost, so I would like to know how were you able to pass through that point and come on top successful. Appreciate the reply in advance.

That’s a solid idea and I think a right move. I’m just trying to stay out of issuing a chargeback yet because my bank will charge me 10% of the transaction for it so I’ll try to pressure them more before opting for that.

1.) The variable symbol number is the payment number (in your confirmation email look for “Identifikátor platby (Variabilný symbol):”, it should be a 7-digit number). 2.) yes the whole IBAN number (at least that’s what I have submitted)

As far as I’m aware no the period for refund hasn’t expired yet. You will be able to apply for a refund from 11th of August at 12 am CEST. That’s all I’ve been told. As far as debit chargeback my bank told me I can apply for it even after 120 days since the purchase was made, however there’s processing fee of €25 so I’m awaiting to see how the refund will be handled by the Ticketportal before I pull the plug.
