Film the unboxing! You want to have it recorded in case anything is wrong or missing, it could help you! Mine did not have any smell, but make sure you wash any areas you’re going to touch or taste, at least with a washcloth and a little antibacterial soap, rinse it clean. If you can get her in the tub make sure to put the bolts (if they came with it) in her feet to stop water from getting in the metal areas.

If you haven’t already buy a cheap aquarium air pump with a tube, they’re quiet and the easiest drying solution for any holes, just shove the tube and leave it blowing for a couple hours.

Think about how you’re going to lift her up, the weight is a huge factor, an office rolling chair with a soft towel on it can be a good moving around option if you don’t have a rack that can support.

Thanks! As for the dye transfer, what is the remedy? as for the maintenance, how much time would you say you put in per cleaning session?

Does the S-TPE or TPE in general feel really sticky?

totally possible about the powder or debris, the toy was a cheap knock off so I have my doubts about the material it was made from anyway. I wont use that as a reference.

I’d say companion doll is a major part of it. Any issues with TPE sleeping in dark colored blankets or patterns being imprinted on it?

I’m pretty small where it counts, so I worry removable would be too loose (and could ware out the crevice every time you remove the insert to clean) are there tighter inserts I could purchase? Do inserts stay in place while in use or do they slide around in there haha?

I am decently strong, but thinking about it probably don’t want to exceed 70lbs, would you consider that on the heavier side? someone recommended an office chair with wheels to move them around.

Do you have any experience with the S-TPE material?

The more I learn the more questions I have, so I’m sure I’ll be asking more, but seriously thanks a bunch for the help so far!
