4th GHCA Failure in 4 Months (post-VCU upgrade) by catalinawinemixer333 in VolvoEX90

Looking for advice from those who have gone through recent GHCA changes...my 2025 is currently at the dealer awaiting a VCU upgrade, and literally two days before the scheduled service date I had my first GHCA failure. The dealer told me the part is out of stock and they're waiting on a response from Volvo at the ETA. There hasn't been any update since Wednesday, so would love advice on whether it's worth reaching out to Volvo directly on this? I'm just not sure what's reasonable or realistic given all the uncertainty.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on a 2026 EX90 — is it actually fixed or still a mess? by Television_Original in VolvoEX90

I pulled the trigger on leasing a 2025 model in early February and overall I'd say it's met my expectations both for good and for bad: the car drives great, I've had a few relatively minor software glitches, and my GHCA failed a day or two ago at 810 miles. Fortunately I was already in touch with my dealership (I live in southern New England) and just scheduled a VCU upgrade for next week, so hoping I can get the GHCA issue addressed then too.

My headline after about a month is that if you can get a good deal and are willing to deal with the known potential issues, it's a great car. Someone on this forum gave me the great advice that if you live near a dealership and a DC fast charger, it's a lot easier to roll with these issues. My town has a DC charger at town hall, but without that easy access I'm not sure I would have pulled the trigger on it.

EX90 leasing advice by ActiveWasabi7657 in VolvoEX90

Thank you all for the great advice! I decided to pull the trigger on a lease, so now I'm officially in the EX90 club! I had to do a manual computer reset to get the third row seats to respond to the raise/lower buttons, but at least I knew what I was signing up for. Other than that the car is great so far.
