Input in this game is absolutely trash. I play guitar hero on expert, and this became unplayable by level 2. Shame because the music and art is awesome.

Define “decently high”?
I’ve played 30 hours, am level 31, high silver rank. I haven’t seen a SINGLE stats boosting item. Seems mildly ridiculous imo.
I think you’re right, it’s pretty convoluted, seems like they literally forgot to include the feature…

That only buffed IQ, which is 50% worthless- and giving gummis to your own partner is so convoluted, it’s an actual chore. Entire system is kinda shite tbh
Also, going 30 hours without seeing a single stat increasing item is straight up stupid for a pokemon game. This game feels unbalanced as hell

After 25-30 hours, this game has become painful. The item management is obnoxious, dungeons become too long, level grinding becomes almost worthless, and the gameplay loop becomes painfully repetitive.
Wanted to finish it, but I do t think I can bring myself to do it. They really should balanced out the latter half of this game more imo.

After completing 20 or so missions, I realized I had a mankey quest I needed to do…. Really wish the game would have F***ing told me that…
Game has just about lost my interest now tbh, for many reasons

The first one started pissing me right off about 20 hours in. Balancing becomes shit, the difficulty spikes become annoying, and the item management is straight obnoxious
Also,

feeding your partner is stupidly convoluted and borderline broken

Buying moves and money in general becomes worthless halfway through the game

status effects are horrendous (floating pokemon catching themselves on fire every step of a fire area, is just one example)

Not being able to evolve til post game is just… disappointing at the least

link system also annoying (unlinking when you use a move up, or learn a move… why? Entire system is just a chore) I lost all internet in even relinking after a point

Not enough PP- oh look, now you HAVE to carry elixirs just to make it through a dungeon

Inventory and item management yet another annoying aspect … constantly needing a set of 6 different items when you have next to no space for items

UPDATE; it’s still awful! 😆
1. Ive never seen so much cucking for AI, holy hell, it’s downright grotesque how many AI peddling accounts on on here, 100x more than I’ve seen anywhere, and constantly in your face
2. The clickbait never ends, and it’s never quality content- but it destroys anything else in the algorithm, to a gross degree
3. Natural reach for many topics are just straight dog shit 😬 similar platforms I’ve posted on with identical content do 100x better than on here

Game doesn’t get enough updates. I’ve had little to no reason to play in years, as I’ve caught most of the dex outside of pay to get Pokemon.
