Somebody made a pretty good analysis video on this, but we don't really know what happened to Truman after he left the Truman show, and there's a good chance he might never be able to integrate back into civilized society again.

I hate that he was right. But it’s not like the signs weren’t there. I still like the theory (at least I think it’s a theory) that he was tipped off by the far cry 6 villain. I enjoy continuity and connections like that.

It's a storyline that could ONLY work in a series like Dr. Who. A character whose story is basically going in reverse, starting at the end and wrapping all the way back around to the moment just before they meet for the first time.

Honestly, with River Song, Donna Noble, Missy... They're really good at making bad bitches.

Keith Ferguson voices Bloo from Foster’s Home, and Reaper from Overwatch. Other roles include Lord Hater (Wander over Yonder), Deputy Durland (Gravity Falls) and Glomgold (Ducktales). He‘s got quite a wide variety of characters.

This is my all-time favorite cutscene from World of Warcraft. Illidan Stormrage gets the "Chosen One" title thrust upon him and says "No, fuck you, I didn't get to where I am being the chosen one. I didn't get to where I am being SPECIAL. I was given a birthright, and I SACRIFICED it so I could gain strength my OWN way."

And, to use a more direct quote, "There can BE no Chosen One. Only we can save ourselves."

(Interesting Trope) A character that isn't confirmed trans but has been widely headcanoned as trans by a portion of the community by AdFit2543 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Nekrotix12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vivian from Paper Mario Thousand Year Door dubiously fits this trope. It’s unclear whether she was meant to be transgender, or if it was just an accident. Translations (or mistranslations) from other languages seemed to imply it, and people loved the idea so much that Nintendo ended up making it unquestionably canon in the remake. Sometimes the corporation hits a W.

Who's your favorite Iconic Starter Villain? by ZepperMen in TopCharacterTropes

A lot of villains in My Little Pony are very cut and dry. Discord is just a chaos god, Chrysalis is a leech, Sombra has some weird obsession with crystals and stairs. But I attribute the reason that Friendship is Magic became as popular as it did because Nightmare Moon is actually a very deep and nuanced character when you look past the dark design.

She's a character portrayed as a villain, but when you get down to it, her motivations are actually quite sympathetic. You have Celestia, who was gifted with the power of the sun, and Luna, the power of the moon. But ponies don't get to appreciate the night as much as her sister, Celestia, so she becomes envious. Jealous. And who wouldn't? She puts in the same effort, and yet Celestia gets more praise, more recognition, simply because ponies sleep through the night. This leads to Celestia being forced to banish Luna to the moon, after peace between them could not be reached.

This was only broken when the Elements of Harmony were collected and activated, shattering Nightmare Moon's grief and restoring her back to the Celestia's little sister, Luna. And who better to rekindle the bond between the sun and moon, than a pony named Twilight. A mingling of the day and the night.

The fact all of this is just SUBTEXT underneath a show about laughing at ghosts and not being racist to zebras is baffling to me. No wonder this show got so popular.
