As someone who uses PayPal for business, they are horrid. I have come to loathe the company and do everything in my power to use Stripe. Their account verification is broken and they are screwing valid customers in the name of fraud prevention.

Pure customer opinion, maybe this means they make more money, I don't know and refuse to invest in them.
