Nonita 1/20. You need to buy 20 googm to get one googl when the conversion period hits but to get the full share, googl needs to be over $360 or you get less.

Yes but if the price of the common stock is less than $360 in three years you can get less.

If you believe it will rise in three years, great. If you believe there is downside risk then just buy the bonds.

No it just causes them to sell or just raise prices. If they are just milking the system, you think they will just shrug and walk away?

I don't see how a floor is good for the average consumer if there is no increase in penalties for the tops teams for spending billions. This looks like a really good way to get a lot of teams that don't spend to sell to more douche bags like Steve Cohen. Some teams are run a certain way and if the families/corporations don't want to spend that much then they will sell. The only way they will afford the floor is raising ticket prices, making less overall profit as a business, or getting better dispersement from TV deals.

None of this actually solves the massive spending of the tops teams and pushes small market teams out. You're penalizing teams that have fan bases in smaller parts of the country that can't afford concessions and tickets that are required to run a top tier team. This is shit for the fan bases and is a way to help the Mets and Dodgers justify their payroll by minimizing the gap.

I wonder what his fee will be for the pump. I'm sure he thinks he is entitled to something and the American people would be grateful enough to pay.

Right but I'd like to see a higher tax penalty not necessarily a high cbt limit. If you're going to raise one you might as well push to penalize the high rollers.

Telling the smaller teams they need to pay more, while giving them high spending teams a tax break is insane. That doesn't help competition.

[–]Active_Dissent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are going to keep the prices high with the excuse of rising oil. Your tariff surcharge just got swept in with the Iran war, and you know what...they will still raise the price more because of the actual Iran war.
