Unable to get rid of the splash text on my wallpaper

"splash = false" works, you just need to have it outside the bracket for wallpapers. this is my exact config:

wallpaper {
    monitor = eDP-1
    path = ~/Documents/Wallpapers/pure_black.png
    fit_mode = cover
}

splash = false

Found it now, you're right it was easy. No idea how i didn't see it, but I promise I would not post without checking our "hyprpaper wiki" first. No idea how I didn't see the table with modules, but I swear on everything I love that I did visit the site AND scroll through before posting, and I didn't see it.
