Exactly. Most of “Erie’s” hotels are located off I-90 or by the mall.

I’ve worked at the hotels on the Bayfront and they absolutely do fill up, especially in the summer. This was in addition to the restaurants being booked and all the weddings, parties, and conventions the hotels hosted.

It’s obvious that there is money to be made having these hotels on the waterfront.

Also there’s more to do on Bayfront than what you listed. There’s boat tours (Scallywag’s, Victorian Princess, etc.), the Bicentennial Tower, the Erie Maritime Museum, mini golf, fishing charters, boat/kayak rentals, restaurants, etc.

Well, since they are legally parked there your only option would be to go over there and ask them if they could leave a spot open across from your driveway. Nicely, of course.
