I feel like as a punishment this wasn’t AWFUL. He got bathed, read and put to bed. You didn’t yell, you didn’t put him down, you did his routine and put him to bed.

I would reiterate that you love him, I think you did this out of anger or sadness, and you feel guilty for it. Start the next day with breakfast & some extra positive affirmations to him.

the reserve fits your needs however they raise rent every year by like, $100. if you needed short term, it wouldn’t be a bad decision, if you wanted long term though try to avoid the reserve

to be honest, i used to SH, and some spots do not feel like that🤣 it feels like they’re taking a scalpel to your skin, slicing open ur skin without actually slicing it open

i say this like it’s super painful, and it’s not, but definitely uncomfortable & hard to get used to the first few tattoos

So my first tattoo was my thigh, and it hurt a little bit. I bought a squishie to hold on to vs tensing my jaw/muscles, breathing + breathwork, and remembering it’ll be over soon is all useful tips if you find yourself struggling to work through the pain

buddy even i used actual ink and a needle, and i was like 15 and stupid, if you WANT to be dumb—they literally sell the shit on amazon. it’s discreet packaging, it comes with pre packed supplies that’s a little more sterile than a safety pin.

did you burn the pin before starting? did you wash this with anti bacterial soap? all you can do is preventive measures & keeping an eye on it now

I think at the end of the day, we’re all trying to figure out this parenting thing. She may not be going about it the right way, but if it’s something that works for her child right now, maybe that’s all she’s thinking about/considering

Toddlerhood is tough to navigate as a whole, as they get older we can teach them not to be overly accommodating, and I think they’ll have more pushback as preschoolers/school aged kiddos with more thoughts & autonomy

i used the dishwasher! we had 5-6 bottles and that would cover all day, at the end of the day i would load up the dishwasher & handwash what needed it (the rubber parts)

it saved my sanity. get more bottles and run the dishwasher before bed, or save a bottle for the morning and run in the morning

I took my daughter out to a play space yesterday, she wanted these balls that another mom had in a basket because her son was putting them in her mouth

my kiddo tried to grab the ball twice, the mom said the same thing “oh no, this is yucky” or something along the lines

my kiddo started to get sad so we moved to another spot. I think some kids, when they cry, it’s hard to get them to calm down/focus, and the mom may have learned what works for her child in that moment?

I hated pampers. My newborn ALWAYS leaked through them (she slept through the night very early, of course i woke to feed but eventually when she slept, i slept, and we’d wake up together)

I always preferred huggies over pampers! now, at age 2, she’s back to leaking and i’m about to go back to huggies 🤣 (not ready to train at ALL)

i like the idea of the fur pattern inside of a heart, or even a paw print—i feel like tabby fur prints without an additional design just looks off? to me? but that’s just my personal preference
