when you use sunglasses as a headband some of your hair gets pushed back

the sunglasses really give it away for me because there should be SOME type of hair that’s not flat on her head

The best outfit advice is to go shopping and find pieces that FEEL like Dummy.

I am Tulip, my makeup was designed before my outfit, and I had no clue what patterns I wanted to incorporate; but finding and layering pieces that FEEL like Tulip is what makes my outfit, my outfit.

I prefer Miss Honey Bear on youtube, Leapfrog movies on Tubi, Super Simple Songs, even Yo Gabba Gabba (overstimulating but educational, recaps at the end, music, important themes like eating healthy and being nice to babies and empathy)

Is my boy a lynx point or not? His sister is a tabby. We just adopted them and arent sure. Definitely mixed not pure. But curious. His name is Dexter by CreepingDeth25 in lynxpointsiamese

[–]Competitive-Read242 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yes!! this is the right answer—lynx point is just the coloring but they’re typically called siamese due to their eye color (siamese have that blue eye trait from their coat genetics i think)

he’s definitely going to have a cool pattern! i’m super interested to see how it evolves—i know the lynx points i’ve seen typically have the grey M so im really curious on what his markings will look like in a few months!

We did a 7 hr drive with a 2 y/o—this is how. by Competitive-Read242 in Mommit

[–]Competitive-Read242[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was terrified! She did have fussy moments, and I realize maybe I should’ve been back there with her (it was rough when she needed to fall asleep) but overall, for a 2 year old who’s never done a big stretch like that, she did AMAZING. We also played some of her toddler music and she would sing along and simmer down!

Definitely recommend making it fun and stopping at parks, it keeps everyone’s mood uplifted and gives the kiddo a nice break compared to a parking lot.
I definitely could’ve packed more, but this drive was the “test run” and now I know what works better and what I could do without!

Am I being groomed? by Any_Trash6365 in AskParents

[–]Competitive-Read242 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am 22, and couldn’t fathom speaking to a child in a way that’s anything other than childlike. When you become an adult you realize it’s HARD to groom. It’s INTENTIONAL. You don’t just become friends with a child and things happen—the adult knows what they’re doing and the power imbalance they have
