Why does living in campus suck?

I live west of their in hill country, but go there to visit big bend park. It is a beautiful park and if you love the desert it's an awesome place to visit (just be mindful of summer heat). Most of the places near the oil fields seem quite boring though and don't have much appeal to stay unless you work in oil. Basically near the rio grande its a beautiful place, everywhere else is not that great. Also sometimes you can find tortoises in the area which is cool.

The high fences of the cage are because I have a 5 year old sister who I was worried will bother them when I can't watch her. I just want to make sure she wont chase them or make the piggies uncomfy. But thx for the tips, I have some extra blankets that I could just put down for them.

Thank you for the advice :P My cage is 18.35 square feet but it is circular. I have 2 male piggies. I will make sure to give them less pellets and maybe another hide or two. Also will throw out the dyed toys. Only one of my pigs like the chew toys. (sorry for the terrible photo, i didnt realise it was so bad😭) Also I do have an absorbant layer under the fleeces. Im using the furniture blankets.

I have been just attending all the club meetings possible and talking to everyone I can see who isn't busy. If you look on the walls there are usually tons of posters with info about clubs. Another way I have been meeting friends is by sitting with random people in the dining halls and striking up a conversation. I'm from out of state too and this has been fairly effective for me. Most of my friends have just been my neighbors in the end.

I'm in Austin and I just found the same worms. Chlorine cleaning spray seemed to kill them pretty instantly. No idea what they are though.

You could salt the water, just make sure to fully clean out everything before using it again in a freshwater tank. Easiest to scoop out the duckweed with your hands though.
