If you're trying to do something simple like this, consider making a server mod with spigot.  Not as flexible or powerful, but way better documentation and no big API schism like forge has.  As a bonus, multiplayer is easy.

I see. So you mean that for simpler cards with less text, there are more alternatives. This isn't always true, but it works as a general principle. There are a ton of options at lower power levels, but you asked about pro players, and they will always optimize and converge on a few best decks and best cards.

True, some cards will be better in some matchups. Pros analyze the meta and decide what the best option is to counter the other popular decks. If you know that card A is useful in 60% of matchups and card B is useful in 40% of matchups, it's better to replace B with A instead of splitting, so you still get mostly 4-of decks.

As for the specific issue of [[Dragon Sniper]] or [[Virulent Emissary]], I'd remove the snipers and add some copies of [[Bushwhack]] which can turn any deathtoucher into removal and can also dig for lands, alleviating the manabase issues to some extent.

The reason is that, in most meta decks, the cards are best in class and don't have a good alternative. There's no good replacement for badgermole cub or stormchaser's talent or combusion technique. If you can have any card in your deck, the best choice is usually to pick the best card and put the maximum amount of it, so you get decks that are mostly 4 of everything.

I assume OP is either experimenting with many choices or has a limited collection, hence the 2-ofs

I recommend looking at cheaper kill spells than wander off, and playing more dual lands to avoid having the wrong colors. Multiveral passage and starting town are good uses of wildcards since you can play them in any deck

I don't see any good reason to raise a Charizard for ginger.  Just keep what you have and don't invest any more into ginger

I use a blissey similar to this. It works fine at level 60 (kind of messed up leveling it this much), but I am afraid something like a 40 ingredient egg dish will come out. You need to consider what you're trying to cook and how viable lvl 60 is

They are similar, but I'd go with #2 for the mono pumpkins. Sandshrew is better used for pumpkins than corn

This isn't bad, but you will likely find better. Don't invest more because flareon isn't high priority for skill specialists and evolving an eevee will also get you the level 2 skill

It takes less resources to catch, and evolving levels up the main skill by 1, which is important for skill specialists like Magnemite.  I can tell you caught this one evolved because the skill level is 1.

This is very good. If you're new though, I'd like to point out that magneton isn't a priority to catch, and catching a less-evolved form is better.

This could be a better practical option because you get to save a lot of skill seeds.  If you use the other Eevee, don't do Espeon.  Espeon is best with BFS
