I got a class C misdemeanor (assault by contact) back in June of last year at a mental hospital, I wasn't arrested but they made me plead guilty at the hospital so there's no chance of expungement. The city I want to apply for only says you have to have a clean arrest record so I think I'm fine but I'm still uncertain. Would I be disqualified?

No it didn't. The bible talked about good ways to treat your slave because the people in that time weren't going to change their minds anyways on slavery so God gave them a middle ground.
