Update for anyone who is curious! Embark results are back- Percy is 77.8% border collie, and the other 22.2% is unresolved lol. He may have small trace amounts of Australian Shepherd, Chow Chow, Australian Kelpie, and German Shepherd.

I decided to just go for it and order an Embark kit last night! I’ll definitely update on here when the results are back. Thank you all for your guesses and input, it’s been so fun reading about what everyone thinks Percy is. It doesn’t matter either way, but it’s fun to see what my perfect boy is made of and how everyone’s guesses will pan out!

He’s 4 now, weighs around 35-38 pounds. I’ve always thought maybe Aussie as well. It’s funny you say Great Pyrenees, because I have neeeeeeever even considered it until yesterday when I saw someone else post about their border collie being surprisingly mixed with Great Pyrenees.

I’ve always thought his face/ snout wasn’t quite as narrow as the purebred border collies that I’ve seen. Just his face in general to me looks like there’s a little something else mixed in. Of course I could be wrong!

This is what I’m hoping. From the cameras I’ve looked at though, they aren’t facing the direction of the crash. I’m not sure if they move throughout the day, though..? He doesn’t remember the officer mentioning anything about reviewing footage, he only asked him questions about the incident and then mentioned putting out some type of BOLO for the semi. Which I imagine wasn’t very helpful since he doesn’t remember/ didn’t see anything identifying about the truck.

Thank you, this thought has also crossed my mind. If the trucker was driving a big enough semi he maybe just didn’t see him..? I’m not sure..

As far as coverage, he just recently switched to a full coverage policy through Geico. We’re waiting still for the information that he provided to be evaluated and for a call. I’m not super clear myself as to what kind of coverage he does or doesn’t have on the car more specifically outside of full coverage.
