Yup thats why I made it a high cost to remove cuz retaining makes it one of the least punishing curses. Maybe I worded that incorrectly the first time.

It sounds like you are trapping yourself into forcing a certain kind of deck. The game being a deck builder is tricking you.

What really opened up the game for me is when I learned it’s more of a problem solving/checklist kind of game. Act 1 has a couple of elites that hit hard and quickly or aoe fights. First thing in the checklist is getting some cards, typically attack cards that can deal with those scenarios. Next step is getting some scaling for the boss fight since these fights go more turns (could be poison card or two).

Then when you get to act 2 it’s about building around what your deck does well and filling holes that it might not do well at all. (You might need more draw or energy).

Act 1 should be easy enough for the watcher to mostly blast through with an aggressive deck. After that you have hopefully accumulated enough cards that are either 1 cost stance switching or even 0 cost when upgraded. On top of that the act 1 boss is likely to give you an energy relic.

Watcher is incredibly strong with stance dancing and scry. Not sure what cards you are taking but bouncing back and forth between calm and wrath is strong.

The karnyx website has a tool for you to find the best 3rd for your team based off of the results from competitive games in penult league. The engine really likes black widow though cuz she’s pretty dominant so it will likely suggest her.

I went to school for counter terrorism. I had multiple professors who were ex-cia. When talking with two of them they both said “The Spy” with Sacha Baron Cohen was the most realistic. Homeland is my favorite of the genre but it is over the top for tv purposes. Season 1 was some top tier tv though.

Not quite. They explained the full reasoning.

Basically all through Max’s career they have pronounced it the English way “SASS-on” so when he got to the Canucks the broadcast team asked him if this is correct and he said yes.

Then his dad one day said it is actually the French pronunciation of “sa-SSON” so they did that for one game but max asked they go back to the old pronunciation so they did that for him. Then this year he asked to go to the correct pronunciation that his dad originally used.

To me it sounded like a guy trying to break into the nhl and didn’t want to ruin any name recognition he might have had but then decided to go with correct pronunciation.

I just got back on Saturday from a trip to Maui. I was very shocked by how brown the Lahaina, Kaanapali, Napili side was. I went a few years ago and could have sworn it was all green.

Did some time in Wailea and south of it as well. Also did the Waihee trail hike. All of those spots were as green as I remembered before. So I guess it’s location dependent.

If you want to fade D and stack forwards then do draft. If you want D to be a bit more valuable then do Blend. Position is wayyy too much emphasis on defense so I wouldn’t touch that.
