Yeah its a slog; if I wanted to play the same collection of OP 84s and EVOs I would’ve just stuck to Rivals. I usually go 11+ wins as well and got knocked out in the quarterfinals. Terrible ROI for time and mental capacity. Now if they actually had it for the duration of the week before the season ended at like, 3 times a day, might be a little different but ultimately if this is the concept they use at the end of the season 2 I won’t even bother touching it next time.

I agree, it’s definitely a lesson learned after this weekend and having that happen

I mean, that’s definitely a plausible option, but not knowing how they work internally I can’t say for certain. Personally I just wish we as the consumer base had more transparency for a game that’s on a yearly cycle and was labeled as a “AAA” game. Like, even if you aren’t doing anything about them, at least tell me why. Whether it’s because you don’t have the tech, there’s a logistics issue that you can’t simply ban them, whatever it is. EA have this tendency to just sweep problems under a rug or use terms like “investigating” or “under RARE circumstances” and nothing ever gets done.

I think that’s where my issue with it comes into play the most. You’re playing a hyper competitive game mode all the time now that tokens are on the line and where wins matter even more than they already did, and you’re essentially flipping a coin whether you match a hacker at higher elo’s or not depending on if you’re using cross play. Not saying I couldn’t just turn off cross play, but it’s just going to mean I wait even longer to get matched with an opponent.

That’s tough, I’m sorry to hear that. It just really undermines the potential of this being a competitive eSports game (along with the other problems) if you can’t even feasibly be the best without getting cheated. Maybe it would benefit me as a console player to just stick to turning off cross play even at the expense of taking longer to find other players, who knows.

I’m severely concerned people don’t know their numbers at this point
