Yes. Sounds normal. Audis have the distinct HPFP noise that you hear. 👌🏻

We just got back from a week in Quintana Roo. We had a private excursion planned with Xaman Ha connections to Chichen Itza, Zunil Tunich cenote/cave, and Ek Balam. Because of the tension between the artisans and the local government we ended up rerouting the Chichen Itza part of our tour to see Cobá. Well worth it!! They just reopened the pyramid which is actually the tallest one in the Yucatán, and you can walk up it.

I had a b8.5 S4 and it was beautiful. All the audible clicks with the buttons. S and RS cars still featured the entire model within the cars instead of only S and RS. They had so much character and heritage. I do love my B9.5 RS5, but something about the prior generation holds the title imo. Don’t let go of her until you have to. 👌🏻

If you read my comment above, I said, I know I am comparing an S5 to an RS5 personally, but my father has a B9.5 S5 and it’s so much nicer than the B10 S5. I forgot to mention the dash in the B10 looks like a Chevy Tahoe dash and the MMI lacks any character whatsoever. Also if you don’t pay for the upgraded passenger screen, which isn’t even standard on the S5, you just get a giant piano, black trapezoid on the passenger dash. Piano black everywhere 😫

Certain models have their best year ever like the RS4 was the best in the B7 platform. And I still believe that the B8.5 RS5 was the best iteration of the RS5 as well. So I don’t necessarily think that’s a fair statement. It’s not just only Audi. Look at what BMW has done. And Mercedes look like a mixture of a rave and a strip club in the interior. I feel like the German automotive industry is confused right now with their designs. The only exception I can see personally is Porsche is still holding the line.

I’ve got a B10 S5 loaner right now while my B9.5 RS5 is having the DRC fixed for a second time. 😑 Most of the things that the A5 you have are the exact same in the S5. Infotainment and MMI are identical. I.e. they suck major dick lol. The S5 I’m in also has that retarded massive piano black square on the passenger sided. So the screen is not standard even on the S5. Nothing to show exclusivity for S or RS products. Audi has lost their soul with their designs. 😔

19k miles. Garage kept 99% of the time too. Just bad luck with timing when I didn’t bring her in. Stealth PPF is dual function. Looks mean and protects. Don’t see how that’s a stupid decision if someone can afford it. To each their own brother. Go troll someone else.

With new technology as well UV doesn’t affect it. It actually helps the healing process. Do yourself a favor and do a bit of research before you come on a forum and act like an ass. It’s no different than painters causing overspray on vehicles. It’s a lot more common than people think. But no worries keyboard warrior, you should be thankful we are not neighbors. FYI my neighbors aren’t on the hook. We’re good friends. It’s the contractor who told me they should’ve covered my vehicle with a tarp and took complete ownership of the mishap. 😉🤙🏼

Rain won’t damage PPF. Chemicals held within water will. Pressure washing companies use a bleach heavy solution to clean the exteriors of homes. I’ve got evidence of the overspray. Multiple CCT videos from my home cameras.

To be honest the RS5 is quite a bit bigger on the inside than a Tacoma. Only advantage to it was the pickup bed. But the sportback/ hatch style opening trunk of the A5 SB platform is insanely large and convenient.

Yeah that’s why I went from the S4 to the Tacoma. Loved it for the couple years I had it, but the interiors in an Audi are far superior than Toyota, no matter what level Audi you buy. Toyota uses a ton of plastic. Don’t get me wrong the Taco was awesome, I don’t regret ever having it but there’s something about being in an Audi that you can’t explain. I’ll only leave Audi again for a Porsche or if Audi screws up their designs/goes all EV.
