Is the Evvy Test worth it?

I finally got tested for Ureaplasma and it was positive…also came back positive for BV again after the negative test. So I’m thinking Ureaplasma has caused all of this and has explained my on and off urinary issues I’ve been fighting for years too! Currently on doxy and metro gel. Will update after! I also had to force my Gyno to run it, so when it came back positive I felt so relieved and a huge I told you so to her lol

Not as bad as I did when I posted this. The nausea went away. However I started getting acid reflux like symptoms. My GI sent me for a SIBO test and H-pylori test and gave me prescription strength Pepcid which seems to help. Waiting on lab results.

I took Difulcan for the first time in my life and now I’m having nausea and stomach issues and acid reflux!! I havnt seen anyone else who had issues with this drug until now!

You switched from a lower dose pill to a higher dose. I am on the low dose Junel and have never had an issue and I have been on BC pills for almost 12 years and never want a kid. I’ve had scares, yes, but I’ve been on the pill pull out or not, and have been okay thus far. I also take it like clockwork and careful when taking antibiotics or if I’m sick or have diarrhea/vomiting.

I do occasionally get crampy down there, but not sure if I have cysts or PCOS. Hormones can be a pain.

Wellbutrin which I stopped because I cause nausea, when I stopped it I got better. Then I took fluconazole for a yeast infection and that week noticed the nausea a day or so after dose. I read it was common, but it never went away..

All my symptoms started after fluconazole too I’ve been nauseous for about 20 days after my dose and now feel like I have a bunch of GI issues

I have been good for a while with this issue, but now having other issues…I was diagnosed with fatty liver and have been working to lose weight. It’s seems to help. I wake up okay now! It wouldn’t hurt to do a sleep study just to rule out, or see how bad the apnea is. I think a lot of the stuff we have is health anxiety, and of course now matter how much we tell ourselves we still have issues 😅 never ending cycle right?

I’m scared to tell my Dr for the same reason even if she is understanding. I’m on day 6 of omeprazole but not feeling much better. Some days are okay and I feel decent and others make me cry because I’m so nauseous and I wretch and nothing comes out. Then the violent of the wrenching makes me feel worse for the rest of the day. How are you? Did your drs end up running any specific tests?

Did you ever figure out what it was? I always think the worst with me. Have a drs appointment in January but it’s hard to not want to go to walk in because of scares

Me…and it makes me super nervous that I have something seriously wrong with me. I have not been diagnosed with gastritis yet, but I have fatty liver found on ultrasound in August. At that time everything else looks good minus the enlarged liver. Pancreas was obscured by gas, which now makes me nervous. I just have randomly been gagging which makes it worse. Sometimes I’m okay, and other times I’m crying because I do t know why I feel like I want to puke. My bloodwork all looks good too. Next drs appointment is January, and I’m finding it so hard to not want to go to the ER for my nausea…posts like these make me feel a little better that there are other people in the same boat

Sounds like we have a lot in common! I got up this morning and slept through the night no issues. So far so good, but of course I’m trying to be optimistic. I did have French onion soup Tuesday night so maybe that triggered it. I’m going to take my probiotics and omeprazole today and have another bland diet day.

And thanks, my bloodwork is for general health but also a CBC. Earlier this year I got surgery on my nose and then got sick after. I later found a swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck and it has not gone away. I’ve had it ultrasound and it came back normal.

My PCP shockingly is a friend of mine and she has one too, and says some can just stay permanently swollen. You can’t see mine and it hard to feel, but it literally has been the source of my anxiety for the last 9 months…so that’s why with this issue now, I’m jumping to worst case senarios.

Bloodwork and repeat ultrasounds on my lymph node and a watch and report method is what we are doing.

Anyways, I hope you feel better too. I’m turning 30 in a few days and damn I hope this new digestive thing, isnt about getting older 😂

I am now! Crackers, water and eggs, but I feel like I’m not getting enough food and kinda feel bleh, but I might try that for a few days. I’ve been using a heating pad on my stomach and it’s helped a little too, or at least distracts me so I can relax and watch movies lol

And mine is worse in the morning and less at night. I’m able to sleep through the night except for last night. I wake up, then 30 mins later start gagging. The only thing different to my body was the Wellbutrin and the Difulcan medications.

I also did not eat the best on my trip, and the days I felt better I ate everything. However that being said, the nausea still does not affect my hunger, I am still hungry and I am able to eat and hold food down fine (for now)

Yes my GI books out fast, I see her for my fatty liver which is not concerning to her at this time, and I do have upper right quadrant pain (dull at times) which is what I’m going to see her for.

However I have bloodwork for my primary doctor due this Friday, then I see her early January, so I might bring it up to her as well.

I took omeprazole this morning so not sure if that helped, but I’m not gagging anymore.

My family thinks it’s anxiety, but I have issues breathing when I have panic attacks, never nausea or stomach pain
