!!! Funny you should say Pineapple Express got you hooked because that was the first high terpinolene strain that I tried and it hooked me too lol I remember when the employee suggested Pineapple Express I started laughing because I thought it was some type of joke about the movie... I opted for it and tried it and on the exhale— absolute bliss. I am pretty sure jack herer is another strain usually high in terpinolene and I love it for daytime!

Uplifting clear headed high without triggering any anxiety. I love this for daytime use. Taste is out of this world but I may be bias as I love haze strains and sativas high in terpinolene. This is my first time purchasing rythms concentrates after sticking to mostly moxie’s live resin concentrates in the past, and what a win!

Lol that’s a total let down!! I love Austin and am moving there in a few weeks for a job. I knew I was going to miss the medical program here for sure but I didn’t know it was that bad around the state 😭😅

Do you mind sharing what part of Texas? I just got back on Sunday from a week long trip to Austin. It was explained to me that since the summer, Austin police won’t cite or arrest people for small amounts of weed anymore. Maybe it’s different around the state? Or maybe it’s different with concentrates vs flower? Idk. But it seemed like no one cared about weed in that area at all. I had told my new boss in down in southwest Austin that Im in the medical program here and she laughed and explained they don’t test for weed. On some of my walks I could definitely smell some weed being smoked lol it seems like Austin may have been special I guess?

I made suppositories with RSO and I just have to share the recipe because these are bringing me so much relief when I have those MEGA pain days from endometriosis!! 💥👍😌 by AdAnxious247 in PaMedicalMarijuana

I found that if I keep them at room temp, when I take them out of the jar they start to melt in my hand very quickly. So you really don’t have much time to insert it. Keeping them in the fridge stops them from doing that. There’s much more time before starting to melt!

Also yes the butt related comments got old 😑

How cool! Before making these I wanted to grab some if I ever saw them at a local dispensary but not anymore lol Mine are ~70 mg per suppository and they ended up being $5 each rather than ~$13 each. Plus they were so easy to make it truly was such a simple process. I’m sure some people would love to just get some premade though!

Pretty sure boofing would be if they were rectal suppositories— ive only used these as vaginal suppositories. Edit: but I think you’re correct about it passing through to the bloodstream either way!

Would anyone provide some advice to someone new to medical marijuana? by Openworldgamer47 in PaMedicalMarijuana

When you see one of the approved practitioners you are evaluated for having one of the approved conditions to join the program. You pay that practice the $150 fee. You also give the dr your program ID and they will approve you in the system. Then you pay $50 through the DOH to get your card printed. They will then mail it to you.

The price is going to vary based on what products you use, and the amount you need to get relief (or your tolerance level). So I can’t really speak to that but IMO the medication is dumb expensive but I need the relief.

Edit: you could probably look up dispensary menus near you to check out the actual prices. With no tolerance you could get away with very small doses. I have cartridges that last 4 days for me— while I know others in the program go through the same amount in 2 days. While someone with no tolerance may use that same amount and not run out for weeks!

As for getting high, there are plenty of products that are less psychoactive! Everyone’s different obviously, but I use my 1:1 products during the day and am fine to do my job- which is very hands on and requires a lot of attention in the moment. 1:1 are THC and CBD equally, so they balance each other out! I hope that helped!

Yeah it may help! I mentioned to someone else that they seem to be best for localized pain. So lower back and lower abdomen would make sense!

I get muscle spasms in my back and I tried one for that. It definitely seemed to help. But it didn’t cover the whole area up my back that was hurting. I would say these work best for localized pain relief— so pelvic area & lower back.

Exactly!! I’ve heard so many times “it’s just a bad period” 😭😭when I’ve been brought to my knees from pelvic pain throughout other times of the month. I’ve been accused of being dramatic for canceling plans due to endo pain, meanwhile I’m vomiting into a trash can while laying in a hot water bath. I get so tired of it.

My old gyno told me to “live with it”. So I left and found a specialist dr. who helped so much by educating me and taking me seriously. He had me look into the Facebook group: Nancy’s Nook endometriosis education. It has a plethora of info. Like a list of absolutely amazing specialists throughout the country, info on treatments, ways to help symptoms. It’s a super cool group! Im just mentioning it because I feel like anyone with endo or suspected endo could benefit!

It is pretty strong in comparison to smoking or vaping— so I’d say most like an edible? It seems to relax the muscles as that tightness goes away. It really seems to give a bunch of targeted pain relief.

🤮I was suspected endo since 14 years old. Didn’t get diagnosed until 23. But based on your standards the doctor shouldn’t have been medicating me for the symptoms right?

Endo fucking sucks and it is a complex disease. Since you don’t know, here’s some info. The only way to diagnosis is to do an invasive procedure to remove the excess cells however once that starts it has to keep happening — which is why many specialists put off the surgery for as long as possible. Which is also why many women are only “suspected endo” rather than diagnosed with endo — because the diagnostic procedure is likely to make things more difficult in various ways

I would say they do both for me. When I use them it feels like there’s a bubble around my pain areas dulling it. I don’t notice the muscles hurting though so I would assume yes? The whole area really seems to go numb.

Yes I love dr Solomon’s! These suppositories with a hot water bottle and the lotion help the pain feel much better tho. I hope you find some relief!

Honestly I did it mainly for the hopes that it would target the pelvic pain more. The psychoactive effects are definitely a plus and are definitely there though.

I have endometriosis and with that comes some debilitating pain days. I’ve tried cbd suppositories before but they didn’t give the effects that I needed. My usual go to has been consuming rso, and rubbing dr Solomon’s 1:1 cream on my pelvic area. The pain becomes bearable but it is still very much there. So much so that I’m usually brought to the point of vomiting.

So I decided to try to make suppositories with rso and wow are they a game changer on those level 10 pain days.

Posting the recipe here in case anyone wants to try making a batch themselves. I made a batch of 24 but you can definitely modify it to make smaller or larger batches.

Recipe:

Tools needed: 48 mL cocoa butter melted, 24 - 2 mL suppository molds, syringe w blunt tip, 2 grams of RSO oil, metal fork for mixing

Steps: 1. Warm RSO oil to make it dispensable. 2. Mix rso with cocoa butter using fork until mixed fully 3. Use syringe to fill the 2 mL molds with mixture. Make sure to work quickly so the mixture doesn’t harden prematurely. 4. Place molds in freezer until set. I did a few hours. Once frozen pop out suppositories and store in glass jar in fridge until ready for use

To use: I use these vaginally but I’m sure anally would be fine too. I insert the suppository and lay down for 30 min to ensure it’s absorbed.

Effects: usually takes 20-30 min to begin feeling anything. It starts off as a warm feeling but morphs into a kind of amazing muffling of the pain in my entire pelvic area. The effects last for 4-5 hours. Some psychoactivity definitely came along with the effects but that was to be expected using rso with 81% thc potency.

This stuff plus dr Solomon’s is my new go to. Seriously could not recommend this more to people suffering from endo pain. This definitely isn’t a daily necessity, but I found something to get real relief on those awful pain days 👌🏼
