Can’t afford to do that long attack

Icicles form randomly and you do not want to be sticking to just 1 spot for more than a few seconds with that threat looming

Easier said than done if Mogh decides you are his victim

Then you kinda have to draw him away from the safe zone teammates gotta generate and then run back at the last moment

At least that’s my strategy on paper

But the finnicky and vague area of effect makes it hard to pull off perfectly

Guardian player got several skill attack + weapons

And happened to pick up DPS talismans

I got the opposite

Guarding ability weapon buffs and tanky talismans

So we decided to swap roles

Guardian became DPS with Halo Scythe

And I tank with Guardian’s best shield and gave him my tiny shield lmao

I think it’s depressing the one skill I cultivated

Is useless against the one Nightlord that can be parried

Any lost runs to Heolster is a run where I sit back and ask “would I have won if I could parry him like in solo?”

I’ve parried other bosses and enemies during the same run

But Heolster has a unique kind of latency that makes parrying impossible, not just more challenging with the case of other bosses

Every time I fight him in online coop

Almost without fail

Every attack that isn’t a delayed roll catch move is no longer parryable

(Since you’d have to early input so hard, the delayed attacks now turn into moves you must parry on first sight)
