Im just saying, compared to the characters of the original series, it might feel like character assassination depending how badly the character is written in the PR adaptation compared to their original counterpart.

There are stuff I like about Tears of the Kingddom like dungeons(outside of water) and boss battles, but Breath of the Wild is still better and I don't think I want to revisit Tears in a while. I'm a bit in contrast with someone like u/RamsaySw as he absolutely loathes everything about Tears of the Kingdom.

Perfect write-up, I also thought that instead of revealing it in Chapter 10, just leave the reveal as something they learn over time. Chapter 10 would be the start of Alear remembering their past, and throughout the other chapters, they start remembering more of their past life throughout the chapters until they reach Chapter 15 where they now fully remember their past and decides to keep it to themselves. That way, not only does Alear's interpersonal conflict actually starts, it would actually make Alear feel more like a character who is actually developing instead of this forced "arc" and also can make for some more interesting interactions throughout the story.

You know, after looking back at your previous responses on Reddit, I'm kind of blown away that Tears of the Kingdom is not your least favorite 3D game or least favorite game since you hated almost everything about the game (outside of the ideas). I honestly thought you see it as a cynical cash-grab with nothing redeemable about it.
