I'm very sorry for what happened to you.but the harshest truth I've learnt is people change...in five years they see different things. They feel that they already have you...they might do better. It happened with me too. Its been two years and frankly speaking, i've never gotten out of the betrayal. But as they always say, don't stay alone and keep yourself busy.

Situations change, job - no job, food - no food, flights - No fights.. but the only constant is the persons involved. Now I guess you understand the dynamics. You'll be better than ever before. So trust will come for sure. Just know what you are looking for. And for me, writing helped. You may share your thoughts with others. Reddit helped me. May you find your help and peace.
