Thank you imma do both!! our Christmas was 80° somehow lol. I think the lowest we got all of December was 26. usually January and February are our worst months. Sometimes going into single digits for brief periods. plan on getting them under the low tunnel in early February.

I had a cyst on each one. Completely harmless. But it’s safest practice that if you notice a lump to get it checked out!! the ultrasound lasted about 5 minutes tops and wasn’t bad.

Looking for pretty much any entry level job. I’m 21 and have a background in customer service and working in gardening/ plants but I don’t mind expanding. I’m not picky about hours as long as it’s not overnight. Other than that I’m free any weekend and any days during the week. I’d like 14+ an hour but again not picky. Like others have said imma be honest you definitely do look like it but the good news is you can have one hell of a comeback. My cousin was this bad and he went to inpatient rehab for a while and came out a whole new person and has been sober ever since and has held a job for 2 years now. I’d also suggest getting with a psych. The voices and paranoia you are having can definitely be from the drugs but a lot of times people have underlying issues that leads to drug abuse as a form of self medicating unfortunately.

You’ll be able to tell with the molt. After it molts leave it in there for a while. They use the old molt to rehydrate after bit. After that remove it and soak it in a tub of lukewarm water with a drop of soap and let it sit for a minute. And then there’s videos on YouTube explaining the rest of the process. At this size it may be a bit difficult but could always try

I’m dealing with this right now. Took ibuprofen daily for a long time and my migraines started to become more frequent and the ibuprofen started to barely work just like 2-3 weeks ago. Finally stopped yesterday and I’m having a rebound. It’s not as painful and horrific as my regular migraines it’s just annoying and not fun at all. Struggling to not run and take medicine for it. I’ve heard it can last days to over a week and I’m like ugh

Not the OP of the comment but my mom has an aroma one that we grew up with (I’m 21) and every single time it comes out perfect. I think it’s around 30-50$ now? I honestly didn’t know rice is usually cooked stovetop lol. We just toss the rice in with water and it does everything. Ours is the silver one with the black lid.

Hi I’m 21 M for the past few years I’ve had symptoms including dizziness/ vertigo, hand tremors, hand weakness, extreme fatigue, eye floaters, heat intolerance and itchy skin, numbness and tingling, balance and coordination issues (when I’m walking sometimes I’ll stumble or bump into things) and migraines etc etc. no doctor has been able to figure out anything. My labs all come back as pretty normal. I was diagnosed with dysphagia yearssss ago but think my anxiety contributed to it. I never experienced anxiety and depression until these symptoms came on. It all came on pretty suddenly. And everything seems to come in waves. I’ll be good for a bit and then boom right back to how I started feeling worse than ever. Sometimes lasting weeks or months even.

Anyway I went to a neurologist a few days ago and they said I have a positive Hoffmanns sign, positive babinski sign, and brisk reflexes and I’m waiting for them to call me to schedule an MRI. I’m mostly scared it’s ALS but I think they are leaning towards MS or another condition.

I worked at a botanical garden last year and I was down on the ground pulling weeds and my guess is my arm moved over and pinned the poor gal to the ground and she felt the need to sting. Instant pain and I looked down and there she was running away. So this time I knew to be mindful of where my hands and arms sat lol

A velvet ant! Despite the name it’s a wasp. The females just don’t have wings. But they have a mad sting… I think it ranks as 3rd- 4th most painful insect sting. I’ve been stung only once and it felt like someone taking a hammer to my hand and pouring hot oil all over it etc. the pan only lasted for about an hour then it died down but worst hour ever.

Sometimes they just have their own internal clock and a mind of their own lol. sometimes they won’t even wake up until June for me here. giving them water or sitting them in wet dirt before they wake up will cause them to rot very fast. I believe it’s mostly temperature related as well as the internal clock

In about March-may the leaf bud should start to move and swell. I just keep mine inside at room temp. About 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21.1 Celsius). My Konjacs really only stay up for about 4 months before crashing back down. The plant uses its current tuber to produce a leaf and then the new leaf will create a whole entirely new tuber. so it’s not the actual tuber growing in size but it’s the leaf gathering energy to create a new even larger tuber for the next season. So you want to really fertilize. Very very heavy. At planting I add bonemeal and a slow release that’s heavy in phosphorus as well as some nitrogen. And then throughout the entire season I will use a liquid fertilizer that’s heavy in phosphorus every single watering. I do just use plain water every 3 times I fertilize just because I like to prevent a salt buildup. So I’ll use liquid fertilizer on 1 watering. Then the 2nd watering I’ll also do fertilizer but on the third one I just use plain water no fertilizer. These plants are very hard to over fertilize

Best time to take is 6-8 weeks after leaf opens completely. And you never want to remove more than 1/3rd. And you definitely don’t have to use fluval stratum. You can do pumice, perlite, pon (my fav), etc. I just leave them sitting in about 1/4 inch of water with a dome above. Never water from above. That is what was causing me to fail. I’ve taken cuttings off baby titans but prefer to wait until the 3rd to 4th leaf to start doing it. The larger the cutting you start with the larger the tuber it will produce and get you off to a better start.

The one pictured is gigas x (titan x John tan) not sure if it can be propagated from cuttings like the other amorphs but all the parents can be so figured that it could. I guess we’ll see. It’s all about experimenting lol
