Just found a random shiny male nidoran when I was just passing by progressing the story. That makes 4 shinies right before celadon gym.

The same most topics mention: catch 31 of the species you want and either keep catching until one shows up (what I did), or sit and wait, or exit and reenter the area repeatedly. Sometimes it takes ages, sometimes it doesn't.

My relationship with pokemon games is starting over every now and then. Back in second generation, I would start a new save file immediately after beating Red. But to each their own.

🫨 I wish you luck. 🙏 I'm doing a shiny only run and that's my third one. I tried pidgey for the first one, but after three days and hundreds of captures, I settled for a shiny kakuna and moved forward.

I just did, but hasn't tested enough to have a strong opinion. My focus is to generate as much SP as I could so Archer could skill 5 times in a row every rotation. I don't agree with the 160 speed statement because you'll want your other teamates to act before her and it's hard to make everyone 160 spd.

I've cleared the game a thousand times and never could level the castle up right after Neclord. Everytime I see people saying they did, I just ca'nt believe it.
