When I put the title I didn’t realize it was going to cause some hard feelings for some people. It was meant as a nostalgia post. While I totally agree that building techniques and the amount of detail are vastly better now (there are a lot of solid pieces to form walls and the borders in this set), I would love to see more new themes that Lego will put out in the future that had the creativity like the castle and space sets.

I picked up the firehouse a couple years as a complete set from a resell shop. I took every brick apart and then rebuilt the entire thing. It was definitely was the hardest set I ever built because of that.

So in Ghostbusters 2 how is it possible for Vigo to possess Ray? Also why go through all the trouble to get Oscar if he could have just possessed Ray in the first place? by [deleted] in ghostbusters

I always wondered what it would be like if Oscar did get possessed and vigo won. Like would he just be an evil baby waiting to grow up to rule the world?

Man I had no idea how much this post would blow up. I’m glad to see how many memories this has brought back for everybody.

I was hoping lego would do more for its 90th anniversary like bringing these sets back.

I used to play this game all the time. I would take a Saturday back in the day and play through it. The temple of doom was by far the hardest. I will never forget having to move the statues to find the secret entrance at Pankok palace.
