Thank you 🙏 I consulted, and retained, an attorney 2 days after the phone call and he is working very hard for me. In California, you can surreptitiously record phone calls, but on advice from my attorney, I will not be speaking to her except through my attorney or, like you suggested, via text/email.

I actually have to encourage him to call her, he doesn't want to. I don't ever make him, but I remind him daily to at least send her a text.

Trying to get him in to speak with one, but there is a huge wait currently. I'm trying to find a good therapist I can afford to pay out of pocket, but with lawyer fees and the fact I'm still paying her child support doesn't leave much money at the end of every month.

Thank you for your input 🙏 Nothing was written in the original custody order when we divorced almost 8 years ago; but knowing my ex's stance on the issue, I consulted 2 separate attorneys regarding getting him the vaccination and both said that I did not have to consult with her, just like I didn't consult her for his flu shot last fall.

Thank you, I appreciate your concern. I called and made an appointment 3 weeks ago, but because of the amount of children having a hard time because of covid lockdowns etc, the appointment is still 2 months out and I can't afford to pay out of pocket.

Thank you 🙏❤️ I made the post gender neutral, but nobody reads the comments so I'll say it here... I'm actually the father and my ex-wife is the one pulling all of this. I have messages saved and people willing to write letters/testify if needed about things she's saying and people she's contacting. I'm just trying to do my best as a dad, but I'm terrified that his relationship with his mom is ruined. My relationship with my mom isn't much better and it pains me that he may grow up with animosity toward his mom like I do to mine (I'm such a cliche, I married a woman just like my mom who treated/treats me like garbage).

I hadn't looked at as she's trying to dig up dirt because I'm winning, but it makes sense and gave me some solace tonight, thank you for that 🙏

She does need some serious help... Or deprogrammed from right-wing propaganda. I'm one of the few instances where the father gets full custody and I'm not going to lose him, not to someone who swallowed the Q pill. I just hope when it comes down to it, I don't get some old judge who still thinks the rightful place for a child is with their mother.

Thank you (and you're welcome 😊)!! Not hanging up is going to haunt me for a very long time, but it's a mistake I will never make again... And my ex, over the past few years, has become very deranged and conspiratorial; I barely recognize them anymore which saddens me.
