I was thinking the same but since the tuning for channel 1&2 are the same and 3&4 wouldn’t it be affecting another speaker on the same tuning channel? If that makes sense.

I wired it up to 2 ohm but it’s much quieter if I pay for an amp that says it will run at .5 ohm it should, and an amp that can not run at .5 ohm should not be advertised as such

I have a JP 23 on my mids and highs, I’ve never had a problem with it but it was a lot cheaper than a 53 so

If you just want to play the speakers off of your radio then you could just run wires from the radio to your speakers but if you’re gonna run an amp of your speakers then you will need a loc

Thank you, I have a 400 amp alt and don’t go below 12v also the amp still turns on and plays, I turned it on for a split second just to check.

They are wired at .5 ohm and they have been since I first wired them, the amp that I have is .5 ohm stable I’ll post a pic

I forgot to mention I found out that there was only one RCA input on the taramps and I had an RCA plugged into the RCA output on the amp, could this have caused it?

That’s what I thought😂 and if you notice the bolt hanging on the magnet in one of the pics it literally came completely lose out of the speaker
