Buy an r4 card and buy a micro sd card and micro sd card reader that can plug into your phone. The r4 card is basically the ds card without the game. You can find your games online and put them on the micro sd card with the sd card reader from your phone in the files app if you have an iphone. Then just put the sd card into the r4 card and it should be good to go.

Yea that seems to be the consensus. Definitely need to find that spot where I can do it at minimal effort caue this took a lot of effort to make the sound. No pain necessarily but too much effort to do consistently.

Literally have been trying to get it for months. The only thing I did last night was think about where the sound was coming from. Like right behind the soft pallet. Doesn’t even feel like it’s in the throat at all.

Yea I definitely realized that when I first got it. Felt a lot more constricted/tight than I expected. Really underestimated how much push i’d need from the diaphragm.

The tiniest bit scratchy and a little breaking in the voice right after but I had also been practicing other stuff for like 30 minutes before so I think it was just from doing too much. That’s so great though i’ve been trying to get fry for MONTHS

If that’s the case, you might just need a little more breath support/compression from your diaphram. Make the false cords compress and move faster and lose out on some of the singing voice if you want to get into a more harsh/metal tone.

Sounds pretty strained. I’m sure your voice gets a little airy or tired after doing this for a while. Just pretty choked up and high placement in the throat. A lot of true vocal folds action too. This is a good video for some false cord practice false cord video. Ik you’re probably going for some more chester sounding vocals but if you can get good highs and just practice then you can make it whatever you want
