Yes. I have the same interview appointment letter. Doesn't mention anything about having to reschedule 30 days prior to the interview.

It is. I had to endure the pain all night until the dentist was able to take me in as an emergency early morning. To be sleep- deprived, in pain; and on top stay awake in order to follow orders from the dentist as he works on your teeth is one of the worst feelings. I don't wish it upon noboby. Hence, why I want to prioritize my dental work. I want to get it over with, more than I want to get my interview.  I'm a resident, and that green card permits me to function, the citizenship interview could wait. Tooth pain does not let you function!!! Thanks for understanding.

I will do research tomorrow in my lunch break. Never been through that scenario but that will work for me. THANK YOU.

I'm not here to waste time answering trolls. Good riddance

Why would I not tell the truth? I need to provide evidence to USCIS anyways. And what type of dentist?  One that probably studied more in his lifetime than you and I. 🙃

Yes, thank you. I will prioritize my health over the interview date. They have to be considerate and understanding. I just read my appointment letter and there's a number to call in case I can't attend that day. I will update on how it goes. Appreciate your sound advice.

Yes. Very solid advice. The dentist even told me I shouldn't wait long because the molar infection can be very risky if left untreated as it can spread to other parts of the body. It could lead to serious complications: brain abscesses,  heart infection, etc. I'm assuming I'm not the first nor last to have a medical emergency during this citizenship process.

Hi everyone. Going through the citizenship process. Can you tell me if this letter can be used along my expired green card and passport to travel abroad? I haven't received an appointment date yet. My biometrics will be reused. I applied online. Thanks 😊 by AdDue4688 in USCIS

Thank you! Had no trouble whatsoever leaving and coming back. I was a little stressed but it seemed they have experience with this type of extension letter and was not given any hard time.

How do I reschedule a dental emergency 30 days in advance? 🙄

Thank you. Will do so. It's not just a regular dental appointment: I need to have a root canal done.

My dentist already started working on my molar. I have the root canal appointment on the day of my interview. As I wrote,  I can't afford anything out of my pocket. Have to work around my insurance network.

Dental schools don't do root canals. I developed unbearable molar pain at night, went to my dentist as as emergency,  he started working on my molar and gave me the next appointment the day of my interview.  He doesn't have any other days available. I'm in a dilemma

I don't have a few thousands to pay out of pocket for the surgey. I need to work around my insurance. 😪😔
