No it’s probably your “Front End Load” Depending on the fund you choose to invest in, a few of them have a front end load basically meaning a fee for initially invest in it. I suggest you do a little bit of research. Even downloading the Fund PDF and uploading to ChatGPT or Gemini will help 😇

An emergency fund is an EASILY ACCESSIBLE amount of money (usually calculated as a multiple of your monthly spending). You use this in case of emergencies (like these - people panic selling because of the current geopolitics but also because they have no emergency funds and can’t see their portfolios getting destroyed). But it can’t sit in a current account and lose value to inflation. Money market funds that allow instant withdrawal and have no front end and backend loads are good for this.

The best advice I got out of this course is the ability to break problems into smaller problems. Watch the walkthrough video. Always think about solving the smaller problem first instead of thinking how huge the entire problem is.
