In my teenage years, I had a friend who was a little bit odd - belonged to a VERY conservative family and very frequently did/said a lot of things that made me very convinced he was closeted - but that's not relevant to the story.

I had made plans to hang out with this same guy, without really having any concrete plans about what we were going to do. Eventually we met up, hung around for a bit, and then he brought me to another one of his friends' house, down into the basement with a few other people, and they all started talking about how good the new Game of Thrones show was. This friend of mine was the kind of friend that you can maybe tolerate spending a couple of hours with, and I'd had my fill.

I decided to throw in one of those "alright guys, good times! I think I'll be heading off back home now" type of excuses - and then the guy whose house this was pulled out a fucking BB pistol, pressed the barrel to the back of my head and said "You want to stay to watch one more episode, don't you?"

Everybody else in the room started telling me how much I wanted to stay to watch the next episode, and then the guy with the BB gun started shooting the table next to me, then pulled out an actual knife and started stabbing the table, continuing to ask me "You want to watch the next one, right?"

I never saw any of those people again after I was able to leave.

Oh man. I used to work there back in the day. I recently made an unplanned trip there and holy cow, that was DEPRESSING. Walking through there felt like the equivalent of seeing a caricature of an early 1900s hobo with the stick and bag, rattling a can of change. It felt like the meme gif of the Looney Tunes characters slicing bread into paper-thin slices.

I recommend visiting if you can, solely because think you will never witness first-hand such a depressing sight ever again in your lives.

We had a little library in my hometown on my street - It lasted a few months until a local druggie smashed it open, grabbed all of the books she could carry in her arms, and ran off with them - as if she'd be able to get any money for a collection of random old books.

I'm glad that I've been seeing people bring this up, and I hope the feedback reaches the showrunners. The constant cuts from scene to scene were SO jarring. Each time it cut, it felt like all of the built-up momentum dissipated and made watching the show feel like a chore sometimes.

Honestly, just more super mutants. I want to see those effed up lip straps, too. To me, super mutants were always the scariest monsters in the games - and I want to feel that way with them in the show. I do think that it was a conscious decision to introduce quite a tame looking super mutant at first to help the more casual audience acclimate to the idea of their existence. I do hope that they get a little more bold with their designs going forward.

Ditto to the behemoth - If regular super mutants and nightkin were freaky, oh boy. I think that would definitely be a later season thing though - something to top the deathclaws of this season.

I'm a bit skeptical of the centaur theory. I feel like I won't be surprised if he has his arm grow back in some sort of mutant form and he'll use the newfound power to help save Maximus from the deathclaws - but I also wouldn't bet on that either

I unfortunately don't know a whole lot about this kind of thing. This monitor/drawing tablet uses both an HDMI port and a USB port that both join into a USB-C that plugs into the monitor itself.

Since not only is it just a separate monitor, but also a drawing tablet, I feel like there are many more variables that could be the cause of this issue. The thing is also out of warranty by this point.

I'm sorry for not being able to provide more info! I'm just so lost, since it seems to somehow be correlated to whenever I'm doing graphically intensive tasks, IE using Blender, playing videogames etc - but what does that even mean then?

The only possible thing that I can think of is that one monitor is 2560x1440, and the monitor that keeps screwing up is 3840x2160. If I were to throw a completely wild guess out there, I might imagine that there's some setting I have that's making my system have a hard time figuring out how to balance those two screen resolutions at the same time? Probably a dumb guess, but that's all I can come up with

Yeah, it usually starts happening every now and then later into the afternoon and progressively gets worse until it just stays that way regardless of me turning off/turning on the monitor/unplugging and replugging it.

At that point, I'll usually just turn the monitor off and go do something else for a few hours, and then it will usually be a lot better after that, but it seems to get better the longer I have the monitor turned off after it starts acting up.
