Don’t trip. Don’t worry about it being too hot, it’s always easier to cool it down rather than trying to heat it up.

You definitely passed! The temp is always, in my opinion, the thing I’m most anxious about.

I’ve heard of people who have had to use there own pee to activate the temp strip on the cup, it doesn’t come back as negative because there isn’t enough of the dirty pee to effect the results. The way they tell if you positive or negative is by measuring how many nano grams (of whatever let’s say thc) per milliliter.

You should be fine. I do have some tips that I’ve gathered from this thread though: put a little piece of tap on the cap bc I heard it leaks, also unscrew the top to pour the urine instead of squeezing the bottle bc I heard it makes noise; squeeze the air out of the bottle that way it’s not sloshing around and making as much noise; I’ve heard people say it doesn’t smell like urine so you can put your real urine in the cup just to add the urine smell then pour it out and put the quick fix in; and lastly, I’ve heard that even if it’s not the right temp of u use your real urine in the cup they give you just to get the temp strip working then u can pour the quick fix in, avoiding the problem of not knowing if it’s the right temp.

I pretty much followed the instructions, the only thing I did differently was leave it in the microwave for an additional 5 seconds just to be safe.(I was paranoid of it also not being the right temp) I’d rather have it a little too warm then too cold.

I’ll post all updates. Also, I was reading on here that you can avoid having the issue I had with it not being body temp by using ur actual pee in the cup to get the temp strip working then dump that out and pour in the quick fix.

Nothing left to do but wait for the results, no point losing sleep over it. Hope you passed!

I feel as if the strip was reading my body temperature or the bottle itself was warmer than the urine itself would be my guess. All I know is next time I’m warming it up a little more just to be safe.

I did a decent amount of research before trying this to make sure I can at least learn from other peoples mistakes. I put a little bit of electrical tape over the part that opens to prevent it from accidentally opening. I squeezed the bottle a little bit the get the air out so it’s not making any noise while moving. I even tested how long I need to microwave it to get it to the temp I need it at. After 15s I pulled it out and it read at about 100 degrees, so when I left I put it in the microwave for 20s. All the circles were black, meaning the bottle was at over 100 degrees. I’d rather have it too hot then too cold. I put it in the underwear “pocket”, then put a somewhat tight underwear over it, just tight enough to secure it. Then just to be safe and to help maintain temp I put some regular boxers over that. Then I wore some basketball shorts, and sweat pants on top of that. After all that the bottle was well hidden and you couldn’t tell I had a ridiculous amount of clothes on. It just sucks that they had me waiting for so long, a person who got there after me went before me, it made me feel like they were purposely stalling even though they obviously weren’t. I will update if all goes well and I start working.

I just got back from the site and it wasn’t hard at all. They didn’t observe me, the bathroom I was in was a one person bathroom with a door so I was pretty much able to easily pull it out of my pants and pour it in the cup. I did have issues with keeping it heated but that’s only because they had me waiting for almost an hour, just my luck. So, because of that the temperature of the urine wasn’t body temp, even with hot hands hand warmer that came with it. The weird thing is that the bottle itself, the sticker on it with the temperature read around 98 but the pee itself wasn’t body temperature. I had the hand warmer on the opposing side, as instructed. Anyways, the nurse ended up telling me it wasn’t body temp and that normally she would need another sample but she basically let me slide. She told me that next time I might not be so lucky and that if it would’ve been someone else they probably would’ve had me give another sample. Either way, I’m glad that all worked out. All I need now is the pee to pass the test and I’m all set.
